Profile

Valeria is a Manager of Practice Growth for Brown Smith Wallace. As Manager, Valeria is primarily responsible for developing growth strategies for the firm and its practices and niche groups, which includes developing thought leadership and other content. Her past experiences at Brown Smith Wallace also include planning and coordinating the firm’s largest client-facing events, including the firm’s women’s initiative, The Bridge, and creating the firm’s annual report publication.

Valeria serves on the firm’s professional growth steering committee. She was also one of the founding board members of the firm’s NEXT group, a group of up-and-coming firm leaders who meet regularly to develop skills in networking, business development and community involvement.

Prior to joining Brown Smith Wallace, Valeria was the marketing assistant at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.

Valeria holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She has been a contributing writer for the Association of Accounting Marketing’s Growth Strategies magazine, D Magazine, D CEO and Feast Magazine.
