Barb is a Manager in the Audit and Advisory Services Groups at Brown Smith Wallace. Barb’s work in the Advisory Services Group primarily includes managing SOC1, Type 2 examinations and various Agreed-Upon Procedures engagements. With more than 14 years of experience in public accounting, she focuses on providing audit and attest advisory services to middle market companies.
She has served a wide array of client types and industries including:

- Financial Services
Barb previously worked at a national firm as an assurance manager where she most recently audited consolidated entities with multinational presences, assets ranging from $110-680 million, and revenue ranging from $135-455 million.
Barb also has extensive experience in managing employee benefit plan audits including single and multi-employer pension, 401(k) and health & welfare plans. She has also presented CPE training on employee benefit plan audits to the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Barb earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
