Kevin is the Director of the Real Estate Property Tax practice at Brown Smith Wallace. With more than 30 years of real estate property tax experience, his responsibilities include research and review of real estate tax assessments and, if needed, filing, negotiating and settling appeals before local and state boards of review.
Over the years, Kevin has saved taxpayers millions of dollars by reducing the taxable value of their real estate properties, from small, owner occupied buildings up to very large, investment grade properties.
He has served clients in various industries including:

- Solar and Wind Generating Assets
Kevin previously worked at J.C. Sansone Company for nearly 14 years, rising to serve as its Midwest Region Director, handling all real estate tax assessment reviews and appeals. He also served in similar tax consulting roles for DuCharme, McMillen & Associates (DMA), Marvin F. Poer and Aspen Resource Group, managing property tax consulting in St. Louis, the greater Midwest and many other states.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri – Saint Louis. He has also completed several real estate valuation courses offered by the Appraisal Institute and Marshall & Swift Company as well as courses in Real Estate and Personal Property taxation with the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
