Jeff is a Principal in the Transaction Advisory and Litigation Support (TALS) Services practice at Brown Smith Wallace. Jeff has more than 20 years of diverse valuation, financial, and operational experience. He has extensive experience performing complex strategic, business, and intangible asset valuation engagements for companies ranging in size from $1M to $50B in revenue across industries. Jeff performs valuations for a variety of purposes, including mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, strategic initiatives, tax, and corporate planning.
Jeff is a seasoned entrepreneur and was co-founder and president of a successful multi-site medical practice. He facilitated the successful sale of the company to a larger medical group in 2020. Jeff has also served as co-founder of a growing e-commerce venture, where he led product development, strategic initiatives, supply chain management, marketing, contracts, and finance.
For two years, Jeff served as a business unit CFO for a Fortune 15 company in the healthcare industry.
From 2007 to 2010, Jeff was a Director in the Financial Advisory Services practice at Brown Smith Wallace. He was responsible for leading valuations of businesses and business interests, intangible assets, preferred stock, and other securities for financial reporting, tax, litigation support, and transaction advisory purposes.
Prior to joining Brown Smith Wallace, Jeff began his career in the valuation services practice at Deloitte & Touche, LLP.
Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Busines Administration from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
