Jason is a Manager in the Transaction Advisory and Litigation Support practice at Brown Smith Wallace. He plays an integral part of business valuations, litigation support services and fraud investigations provided by the firm.
Jason performs business valuation, fraud and forensic accounting, and litigation support engagements for clients in various industries. His experience includes performing business valuations for mergers and acquisitions; tax, litigation, and corporate planning; as well as analyzing complex litigation support and fraud and forensic accounting engagements. He works with staff to oversee the day-to-day activities of many of the Transaction Advisory and Litigation Support practice’s engagements.
Jason joined the firm as a staff analyst in 2007 and was promoted to manager in 2014. From 2016 to 2017 Jason gained experience at MilliporeSigma, a subsidiary of Merck, as a business unit controller. He also worked for the Biologics division of Patheon as the financial reporting manager, developing and managing the reporting and forecast processes. Jason rejoined the firm in August 2017.
Jason earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fontbonne University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
Jason serves on the firm’s University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) campus recruiting team. He is also a member of the United Way steering committee. He was recognized as a member of the St. Louis Business Journal 2014 30 Under 30 class.
