Jason is responsible for monitoring compliance for defined contribution and defined benefit plans. He is an expert in tax advantaged retirement plan design for closely held businesses and professional service firms. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, working in a variety of segments, including an international broker dealer, group insurance, and third party administration.
Jason fixes broken retirement plans for clients by using various Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor correction programs. He often speaks to groups about technical issues and plan prospecting.
In addition to holding an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) designation, Jason is a Qualified 401(k) Plan Administrator (QKA) and a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), all from the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries. He has completed the Accredited Investment Fiduciary analyst program (AIF)® through the Center for Fiduciary Studies.
Jason also serves as the president of the Gateway St. Louis chapter of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) Benefit Council.
A graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance.
