Emily is a Manager in the Tax Services group and has more than 13 years of public accounting experience. In this role, Emily primarily serves large family groups, high-net-worth individuals and privately-owned businesses. She works closely with her client’s team of trusted advisors to meet their specific tax compliance and consulting needs.
Her tax and accounting services experience includes preparing and reviewing tax returns, preparing tax projections and researching various issues. In addition, Emily is responsible for supervising and reviewing tax engagements.

While constantly developing at Brown Smith Wallace, Emily appreciates the learning opportunities that exist with larger projects. She also enjoys contributing to the firm’s recruiting process as a key member of the SIUE campus team, in addition to serving on the SIUE Accounting Department Alumni Advisory Board.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Science degree in accounting at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She is a volunteer and advocate for Share Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support and has served as the Event Chair of their annual Angel Ball event benefiting the organization.
