Ann is a Manager in the Tax Services group at Brown Smith Wallace. She manages client relationships and provides tax and accounting consulting services to individual and business clients. She has more than 30 years of industry and public accounting experience working with privately held businesses in various industries including construction, manufacturing, and distribution.
Her industry experience has given her ample knowledge of acquisitions and mergers, internal financial reporting and budgeting, performance measurements and managing a general accounting department with a staff of nine.
In her role as manager, Ann enjoys direct client contact and the challenging and special projects that come her way. Additionally, she is in a position to aggregate work prepared by the entire team and help implement solutions. Ann makes a measurable difference to her clients by fulfilling the role of trusted advisor to their business needs.
Ann earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA). She is also a member of the National Association of Women in Construction and a board member and treasurer on ALIVE's Finance Committee.
