Tools to Measure Program Impact

On December 6, 2017, and December 14, 2017, Brown Smith Wallace hosted the NPO Speaker Series event, “Tools to Measure Program Impact,” where Emily Uzzle, Director, Learning and Evaluation for United Way of Greater St. Louis, presented on how the theory of change and program design helps define program success.

In this session, participants explored the theory of change and program design and learned to identify the data that can best inform their understanding of program impact. Participants also learned about resources and processes that can be used to find and/or design measurement tools and methods that can bolster program evaluation.

Among the topics covered were:

  • Defining success for your organization
  • Identifying what to measure
  • Measurement tools & methods
