HHS Delays Due Date for Provider Relief Fund Reporting
On January 15, HHS announced that the reporting portal would open for “registration only” for any provider that received over $10,000 in Provider Relief Funds (PRF). There is no deadline yet identified for completion of the registration process. We anticipate this also means the original deadline for submission of February 15 will be further delayed.
HHS has published a list of items providers will need to complete the registration process. The process is estimated to take 20 minutes to finish and must be completed in one session. HHS also updated the Notice of Reporting Requirements.
We will provide more updates as we receive them.
Are You Ready?
Even with this delay, providers should not wait until the last minute. Let us help you prepare so you can be ready. We can help in the registration process, use additional guided processes to help you identify, correctly allocate and report on appropriate expenses, and assess your internal control’s compliance in preparation for the new deadline. Additionally, our fees can be part of an allocated expense for the use of Provider Relief Funds.
