Thomas J. Hill Promoted to Manager at Brown Smith Wallace
(ST. LOUIS, March 5, 2019) Thomas J. Hill, CPA, formerly a supervisor in the Audit Services practice at Brown Smith Wallace, has been promoted to manager. He has more than seven years of experience in public accounting with a specialized focus in not-for-profit organizations and financial service related entities, including broker-dealers and registered investment advisors.
As a manager, Hill is responsible for planning and leading audit and attestation services for his clients. He leads the engagement planning and transition process, develops the overall audit plan and works with clients’ management and financial personnel to set and monitor engagement schedules, fieldwork and related timing of deliverables.
Hill earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Missouri Society of CPAs (MOCPA) and the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Financial Management Society. Hill also serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Artscope St. Louis.
