Steve Schueppert Named Partner in Charge of Audit Services at Brown Smith Wallace
ST. LOUIS (January 13, 2016) Steve Schueppert has been named Partner in Charge of Audit & Attest Services at Brown Smith Wallace. Schueppert joined the firm as a partner in 2009 and has more than 25 years of experience in the accounting industry. He provides audit, customized accounting, tax and consulting services to clients in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, financial services, not-for-profit, distribution and real estate. He succeeds Tony Caleca who was named Managing Partner of Brown Smith Wallace, LLP on January 1, 2016.
As Partner in Charge, Schueppert will be responsible for client service delivery, development of the audit team, and revenue growth and profitability of the audit practice. He will continue to provide clients with counsel related to complex business matters, such as cost reduction strategies, mergers and acquisitions, process improvement, internal controls and risk management.
Schueppert graduated with high honors, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is a board member and treasurer of Ozark Regional Land Trust. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG).
