Sean McKenzie Transfers to the Entrepreneurial Services Group at Brown Smith Wallace
(ST. LOUIS, January 29, 2018) Sean McKenzie, formerly a principal in the firm’s tax practice, has transferred to the Entrepreneurial Services Group at Brown Smith Wallace.
He has more than 15 years of experience as an accounting professional and has worked with a wide variety of clients in many industries, including manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, private equity hedge funds, professional services and securities broker dealers.
“Sean’s tax expertise combined with his client relationship and mentoring skills are invaluable additions to the Entrepreneurial Services Group,” said Karen Stern, Partner in Charge, Entrepreneurial Services Group at Brown Smith Wallace.
McKenzie serves as a mentor to many in the firm. He also helps lead the firm’s NEXT group, an initiative for up-and-coming leaders focused on developing networking and leadership skills and fostering the firm’s culture.
McKenzie is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Public Accountants. He earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Saint Louis University and enjoys contributing to the firm’s recruiting process through his involvement in the Saint Louis University recruiting team.
