Ron Steinkamp Promoted to Partner at Brown Smith Wallace
ST. LOUIS (January 29, 2015) Ron Steinkamp has been promoted to Partner, Advisory Services at Brown Smith Wallace. Steinkamp has more than 20 years of experience providing internal audit, fraud and forensic, process improvement, risk management and consulting services to companies and public sector organizations of all sizes.
Steinkamp is actively engaged in several professional organizations. He is a frequent presenter to several organizations including the Missouri Society of CPAs, state and local municipal leagues and the Association of Government Accountants. Steinkamp also coordinates quarterly public sector risk briefings for the bi-state region.
Steinkamp graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri—Columbia. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and has a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Government Finance Officers Association.
Steinkamp is currently on the board of governors for the St. Louis chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors and is also a board member of the St. Louis chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
