Retail Advisory and Cost Segregation Specialist Promoted at Brown Smith Wallace

ST. LOUIS (January 16, 2014) Brown Smith Wallace has promoted Robert Haggerty, CPA, to Partner. Haggerty’s new role as Partner recognizes his successful roles in the firm’s Retail Advisory and Cost Segregation practices. Haggerty, who joined the firm in March 2012, has more than 20 years of public accounting and industry experience, including extensive experience in the retail sector.

“Rob has been integral to the development and success of our Retail Advisory Services practice,” says Harvey Wallace, Managing Partner at Brown Smith Wallace. “His deep tax capabilities and broad background with retailers have enhanced our firm’s service to clients in these areas.”

Rob is the practice leader of the firm’s Cost Segregation practice and a member of the Real Estate Advisory Services and Retail Advisory Services teams.  His practice areas include tax planning and compliance for individuals, partnerships and corporations, and he advises clients in a variety of industries.

A licensed certified public accountant, Haggerty earned a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
