Julie Eckstein Named to Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) 2015 St. Louis Chapter Executive Board
ST. LOUIS (June 2, 2015) Julie Eckstein, Principal, Health Care Industry Group at Brown Smith Wallace, has been named to the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) 2015 St. Louis Chapter Executive Board.
With more than 30 years of experience in community and public health, health policy and healthcare delivery, Eckstein helps for-profit, nonprofit and government organizations interpret the current policy environment and market changes as part of crafting strategic plans to take them solidly into the future.
Prior to joining Brown Smith Wallace, Eckstein was the Director of St. Charles County's Department of Community Health and the Environment. She has also served as vice president and state policy director for the Center for Health Transformation (CHT), founded by Newt Gingrich, and was appointed by Governor Matt Blunt as director of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services in 2005. Her clinical experience included time with SSM and Mercy, as well as others.
