Jen Vacha Elected to MSCPA Board of Directors
ST. LOUIS (July 13, 2016) Jen Vacha, CPA and principal in the Brown Smith Wallace tax services practice, has been elected to the Missouri Society of CPAs Board of Directors.
Vacha frequently presents on not-for-profit IRS information filings to boards and audit committees to enhance their knowledge about Form 990 and the story it tells about their organization. Her presentations to those charged with governance cover topics such as required disclosures, compliance with other reporting requirements, good governance, compensation, revenue hierarchy, reporting special events, and differences between financial statement and Form 990 reporting.
In addition to her involvement with the MSCPA, Vacha also serves her community as a member of the Children’s Home Society of Missouri finance committee and a member of the Gateway Huskers, an alumni association that funds scholarships for the University of Nebraska scholarship program. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor in Business Administration.
