Emily Sill Promoted to Principal at Brown Smith Wallace
(ST. LOUIS, September 21, 2020) Emily Sill has been promoted to principal in the tax services practice at Brown Smith Wallace.
With more than 15 years of public accounting experience, Sill primarily serves high-net-worth individuals and families as well as privately-owned businesses. Specializing in multi-generational wealth, she works with clients to make sure communication and understanding are present between grandparents, parents and children. With intentional education and planning, Sill helps build solid foundations for preserving wealth and managing taxes. She oversees tax and accounting engagements for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, trusts and estates, and works closely with her client’s team of trusted advisors to meet their specific compliance and consulting needs.
Sill has been influential in the firm’s recruiting process, as well as increasing her business development efforts. She is a key member of the SIUE campus recruiting team, in addition to serving on the Accounting Department Alumni Advisory Board. She also volunteers her time to Share Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support and has served as the event chair of their annual Angel Ball event benefiting the organization.
Sill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and a Master of Science degree in Accountancy at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
