Deborah A. Warden Joins Brown Smith Wallace as a Manager
(ST. LOUIS, November 3, 2020) Deborah A. Warden has joined Brown Smith Wallace as a manager in the tax services practice. She brings more than 25 years of experience and demonstrated success in financial analysis/planning and tax consulting for businesses and individuals. Warden has extensive experience in process improvement and client relations, always striving to surpass client goals and satisfaction.
Prior to joining the firm, Warden served as a federal and state tax manager at Smurfit-Stone (now WestRock) and tax manager at Deloitte. During her time there, Warden was responsible for reviewing income tax provisions, overseeing the consolidated tax return process and forecasting effective tax rate analysis.
Warden earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from St. Louis University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA). Outside of work, Warden volunteers in the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.
