Brown Smith Wallace Launches Startup Community Survey
ST. LOUIS (October 7, 2015) St. Louis has emerged as a significant supporter of startup businesses. These new ventures are vital to the economic success of the region today and in the future. Brown Smith Wallace is conducting a survey to take the pulse of the community and to better understand the business challenges the startup community faces.
“St. Louis is fortunate to have a vibrant, growing startup community,” says Cathy Goldsticker, partner tax services and startup practice leader. “As an active supporter of startups and the St. Louis region at large, we are eager to find out what’s working and what isn’t from a business perspective and to share the insights with the entire community.”
The survey isn’t limited to startup founders and startup employees. “Getting participation from investors, incubators and accelerators, consultants, educators and mentors is extremely important,” says Harvey Wallace, managing partner. “These stakeholders are critical to the success of the startup companies, and the entire community. The results won’t be inclusive and comprehensive without their input.”
Anyone that’s interested in completing the survey can access it here.
The firm will make the full results available early next year.
