According to a recent poll, almost 60% of Americans feel the Health Care Reform legislation has had no impact on their lives. Since the Affordable Care Act, or “Obamacare,” passed in 2010, there have been several modifications to the original legislation, creating questions and confusion. Two recent conflicting rulings by the U.S. Court of Appeals didn’t give much clarity, either. What is clear, though, is that Reform affects everyone.
Ron Present, Health Care Industry Group Leader at Brown Smith Wallace, will discuss why Health Care Reform came into being, its four primary impacts, what the recent court rulings mean for the future of Reform and how it’s affecting St. Louis.
