NPO Speaker Series: Busting Burnout While Preventing Compassion Fatigue
Can you recognize when your employees exhibit burnout symptoms? Are there signs of compassion fatigue throughout your team? Join us Wednesday, September 18, in Creve Coeur or Wednesday, September 25, in St. Peters for our NPO Speaker Series event, “Busting Burnout and Combating Compassion Fatigue.” Connie Fisher, Director of Mental Health Promotion at Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri, will share tips on how to recognize stress, manage burnout and combat compassion fatigue in your NPO employees. This event qualifies for 1 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit.*
Connie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 26 years of private practice experience. She has presented numerous workshops on a variety of mental health topics including stress management, burnout, compassion fatigue and resilience. In addition, Connie has 16 years of experience as an adjunct professor, teaching a variety of courses on psychology, social work and human services at Washington University in St. Louis, Columbia College, Meramec Community College and Forest Park Community College.
