Ron Present Discusses Seniors and PPACA on KETC

Ron Present will join the Stay Tuned panel Thursday, June 27 to discuss the impact PPACA may have on senior citizens. Health Care Reform: it’s been a hot topic across the nation for years. Now that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) is law and the individual mandate goes into effect on January 1, 2014, the reality of what reform means is coming into focus.

Ron Present, Principal in Charge, Health Care Advisory Services, will be a guest on Stay Tuned, Thursday, June 27, at 9 PM. Stay Tuned is a public affairs program that airs weekly on the Nine Network, KETC. Ron will discuss how PPACA will affect senior citizens.

Ron has over 25 years of health care industry experience, with in-depth knowledge of the operational structure of pre-acute, acute and post-acute health care environments. Ron brings clients hands-on experience as both an industry executive and consultant. In addition, Ron is a licensed and certified nursing home and assisted living administrator.

Ron serves on several strategic and operational boards including Secretary of the American College of Healthcare Executives, MO; Immediate Past-President of the American College of Health Care Administrators, MO; and Vice Chair of the Harris-Stowe Anheuser Busch College of Business Health Care Advisory Board.
