Accounting Firm Hits the Streets . . . of St. Charles


ST. LOUIS (May 23, 2012) St. Louis-based accounting firm, Brown Smith Wallace,  moved its St. Charles office from Wall Street to the new Streets of St. Charles, a premiere 26-acre mixed-used development located at the Interstate 70 and Fifth Street interchange.

The accounting firm was one of the first tenants to sign a lease in October 2011 with Cullinan Properties, which developed the Streets of St. Charles—a $375 million retail, residential and office project. Brown Smith Wallace occupies a 6,000-square foot space for its 26 staff members within the 100,000-square foot office building.

“We think this a unique and vibrant office that is centrally located with easy access for our clients and employees,” said Bill Willbrand, member-in-charge at Brown Smith Wallace. “This move provided us with the opportunity to extensively design the space around comfort and functionality for our staff, as well as incorporate cutting-edge technology to better serve our clients. This new space has made it all possible.”

With its relocation from Highland to Glen Carbon, Il, and the Streets of St. Charles, Brown Smith Wallace, which has been an active player in the commercial real estate market over the last year, is looking for its third new site for its headquarters currently located in Creve Coeur.
