Board or Bored?
Best Practices for Running an Effective Board

2-15-17-event-image

Running a successful nonprofit board means more than just productive meetings. Common board problems include disengaged members, lacking the proper skillsets, and missed opportunities for incorporating technology.

Join us on February 15 to learn how to get the most out of your board, including traits of good board members, necessary content to make a meeting effective, and carrying out fiduciary responsibility.

Janet Ramey is a Principal in the Audit Services group of Brown Smith Wallace and serves as team leader in providing financial services in the not-for-profit and tax-exempt sector.

We have met our capacity for this event and are currently unable to accept any new registrants. We apologize for the inconvenience, but encourage you to sign up for our next NPO Speaker Series event that will be held on two separate dates: “Board or Bored? Part 2: Governance Issues and Helpful Tools.”

This event will be held on 4.26.17 in Creve Coeur and on 5.3.17 in St. Charles.
