Earl is a Member of Brown
Smith Wallace with more than 30 years of experience in
public accounting. He was a founding partner of Baron Salsman & Company,
LLC and was actively involved in the firm for 18 years
prior to their 1998 merger with Brown Smith Wallace.
Also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Earl has developed
a niche in business valuations and litigation support.
He has extensive experience working with the following
industries:
- Construction
- Real estate
- Not-for-profit
His expertise led to Earl’s participation as a contributing
author for a recent AICPA publication, Income Reconstruction:
A Guide to Discovering Unreported Income. He also has served
as a quality reviewer of other CPA firms.
Earl is a past president of the Missouri Chapter of the
National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).
He also has worked as a national officer for the National
Associated CPA Firms (NACPAF), a network of more than
50 CPA practices throughout the U S and Canada.
Earl received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy
from the University of Illinois and a Master of Science
degree in Commerce from St. Louis University.
For more
than ten years, he was a member of the Accountancy Department
faculty at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where
he taught managerial accounting.
