Chris is a Member of Brown Smith Wallace and is
the director of business development. He is responsible
for expanding market awareness of Brown Smith Wallace services
and the value proposition provided to its clients. His
focus is primarily with publicly traded and privately held
middle market companies with revenues from $100 million
to $3 billion.
He has a strong background in business development, service
delivery, project management, staff development and management
consulting. He has extensive experience serving publicly
traded and privately held clients in the following industries:
- Real Estate Development
- Construction
- Manufacturing
- Distribution
- Retail
- Professional services
- Technology
Prior to joining Brown Smith Wallace, he served as the
managing director at Jefferson Wells International where
he was responsible for establishing the St. Louis office
and developing new business in the surrounding market.
Chris also spent 10 years with KPMG where he left his
senior manager position in the external audit practice
to join one of his clients as the VP-Finance and Chief
Financial Officer.
Chris is a client advocate as he remains significantly
involved as the client relationship manager with many
of his new clients. Chris has purchased, sold, managed
and delivered professional services during his career;
it is this experience that he utilizes to maximize the
client/service provider relationship.
Chris, a licensed CPA, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors
(IIA), the Information Systems Audit and Control Association
(ISACA) and Financial Executives International (FEI).
