Roy, a Member of Brown
Smith Wallace, is responsible for maintaining quality control,
monitoring current tax developments and maintaining systems
to ensure that clients receive accurate, timely tax service.
Working with individuals,
closely-held corporations, nonprofit entities, family
groups, partnerships and trusts, he specializes in:
- Tax planning and compliance
- Business consulting
- Personal financial planning
In addition, Roy works closely with Brown Smith Wallace
Litigation & Valuation Services Group, providing substantial
input in the area of divorce taxation. He is the only CPA
in the state of Missouri to have achieved both the CPA
designation and the CDFA and CDS designations.
Prior to joining Brown Smith Wallace, Roy was a tax manager
with a national accounting firm. He has authored several
articles and is a frequent speaker on tax-related issues.
A licensed CPA, Roy earned his Bachelor of Science degree
in accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia
and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of CPAs. His
current community involvement includes:
- St. Louis Volunteer Accountants & Lawyers Association
- Kids in the Middle, Board of Directors
- HotCity Theatre, Board of Directors
As a result of his active community service and board participation,
Roy has received the recognition of “Who’s
Who of Emerging Business Leaders in the Midwest.”
