Tony is one of two Members-in-Charge of Brown Smith
Wallace’s Audit Group. He is active in all internal committee's which oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm's professional and administrative staff.
Seasoned with more than 15 years’ experience,
Tony has a strong background in cash flow management,
family tax and succession planning project management, staff development and management consulting.He works
closely with privately held clients in the construction, manufacturing,
distribution, service, technology and financial services industries.
In addition to traditional accounting, audit and
tax services, Tony enjoys providing clients with in-depth consulting,
operational assessment and process improvement strategies. He has successfully
assisted clients to:
- Develop a blueprint for long-term planning and succession opportunity..
- Evaluate and improve procedures surrounding monthly
financial closes.
- Evaluate internal policies, procedures and controls to ensure their design and execution meet the current and future business needs.
- Analyze organizational operations, detect areas of
excess or wasteful spending and devise ways to improve
cash flow and working capital requirement.
- Establish billing and cash collection procedures
that minimize “negative cash-flow jobs.”
- Develop income and cash flow projection tools to
more effectively manage a company’s financial
position.
- Deal more effectively with day-to-day organizational
and personnel management.
- Negotiate financing opportunities with lenders.
A graduate of Christian Brothers High School (1988)
and Fontbonne College (1992), Tony holds a BS degree in Business Administration
with a concentration in accounting and finance. He currently serves
as a member or volunteer of:
- Associated General Contractors of St. Louis
- DeLaSalle Middle School at St. Matthew’s
- Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants
- American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
- Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center Development

An avid sports fan and former high school and college soccer
player, Tony is an inaugural St. Louis Rams season ticket holder. He and his wife Chelly have two children, Anna and Anthony. |
