Saint Louis University Institute for Private Business
Brown Smith Wallace is proud to be the presenting sponsor for the Institute for Private Business Seminar Series. The institute has created a forum for this important group of entrepreneurs to engage and share ideas; ideas that will strengthen their respective business positions and ultimately our regional economy.
About the Institute
The Institute for Private Business is a division of the Center for Entrepreneurship in the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University. The institute was conceived to provide much needed education and resources to the privately-held business community. Today, much of the business media and academia are focused on large, publicly-held companies, virtually ignoring the fact that nearly 30 million of the privately held businesses in the US generate more than half of the US GDP! The John Cook School of Business identified the opportunity to start a program that would support this important segment of the country’s economy.
